Page to Screen Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio ( The Revenant ) is set to star in a film adaptation of Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI , a David Grann novel. (Obviously, they'll have to change the title.) DiCaprio will reteam with legendary director Martin Scorsese (they collaborated on The Departed , Shutter Island , and other films) for the project, which is still in the fledgling stages. The novel is being adapted by screenwrite Eric Roth ( Forrest Gump ). Variety has more. Two-time Academy Award winner and Tony nominee Cate Blanchett ( Blue Jasmine , The Present ) is set to star in the adaptation of Where'd you Go, Bernadette? , which, BTW, is not about Bernadette Peters. Casting News Jake Gyllenhaal ( Sunday in the Park with George ) is set to re-team with his Nightcrawler collaborators, actress Rene Russo and writer/director Dan Gilroy , for an untitled film set in the art world. Netflix has already won distribution rights. Deadline has more. Freida Pinto ( Slumdog Millionaire ) will join the cast of The Path for its upcoming third season, now filming in New York. She joins as a series regular. The Path stars Aaron Paul , Michelle Monaghan , and Hugh Dancy . Deadline has more. The terrific Victoria Clark  ( Cinderella ) will appear in the upcoming Encores! production of Assassins , starring alongside Steven Pasquale . The winners for the 71st annual Tony Awards have been announced and feted! The full list of winners is below, beginning with the big four categories. Thereafter are the winners in the play categories followed by the nominees in the musical categories. Winners are notated with bold typeface and an asterisk. Best Musical Come From Away Dear Evan Hansen * Groundhog Day Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 Hooray!!! Dear Evan Hansen  had been the early frontrunner, but Come From Away  was the horse that broke late, and made the category competitive. (I certainly don't mean that as a knock on Great Comet , which I've seen and loved, or Groundhog Day , which I haven't seen; that's just what the race, according to chatter, was.) I love this musical. It's raw, honest, and important. It worked so well off-Broadway, it works amazingly on Broadway, and you better look for it in your town because I have no doubt it will be incredible on tour. Best Play ...

It's an Honor Lilly Awards — Tony nominee Denee Benton ( Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 ) and others are among this year's Lilly Award honorees. These awards recognize women's contribution to American theatre, and the women will be feted at the May 22 ceremony. Playbill has more. Mark Twain Prize for Humor —Funny man and former late night weirdo David Letterman has been named the 2017 recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Mark Rylance Sets Broadway Return The three-time Tony Award winner and Academy Award winner will return to Broadway this winter. Rylance ( Twelfth Night , Bridge of Spies ) leads the cast of Farinelli and the King , a new play by Clair van Kampen that premiered at Shakespeare's Globe in 2015. As noted in the announcement on Playbill , Farinelli and the King is "inspired by the true story of the Italian castrato opera singer," and includes many Handel arias. Previews at Broadway's Belasco Theatre (where Rylance was last in the dual Twelfth Night/Richard III productions) begin December 5, with opening night set for December 17.
