Casting News Complete casting for the revival of Sunday in the Park with George has been announced. Lazarus in London A London production of Lazarus will be mounted this fall. Featuring music from the late, great David Bowie 's catalog (and a few new tunes) and a book by Enda Walsh , Lazarus is inspired by and is a continuation of The Man Who Fell to Earth . Michael C. Hall , Michael Esper , and Sophia Anne Caruso , who starred in the off-Broadway run last year, will reprise their roles across the pond. Lazarus will begin previews at the Kings Cross Theatre on October 25. Opening night is set for November 8, and the limited engagement is scheduled to conclude January 22, 2017. Broadway.com has more. Best Play Eclipsed , written by Danai Gurira The Father , written by Florian Zeller The Humans , written by Stephen Karam King Charles III , written by Mike Bartlett What a wonderfully competitive category. I could make arguments for each of the three plays I've seen. Eclipsed is a powerful recent history play, telling a story that hasn't been told (definitely not on Broadway and definitely not this way). King Charles III is an imaginative, fascinating, and possibly prophetic future history play; I mean, Bartlett created his own genre. And The Humans is so deeply felt and deceptively simple, yet it is actually layered and complex, and a statement of, well, humans.
