Theatre Award Season Drama Desk Awards —Winners of the 59th Annual Drama Desk Awards, hosted by Laura Benanti, were announced and feted on Sunday night.As they should have, Twelfth Night and Hedwig and the Angry Inch won their respective revival categories. Neil Patrick Harris ( Hedwig ), Jessie Mueller ( Beautiful ), Reed Birney ( Casa Valentina ), Celia Keenan-Bolger ( The Glass Menagerie ), James Monroe Iglehart ( Aladdin ) and Anika Larsen ( Beautiful ) all took home performance awards. And because the Drama Desk splits the score into two awards, one for Outstanding Music and one for Outstanding Lyrics, Jason Robert Brown won for Outstanding Music for The Bridges of Madison County , while Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak won for Outstanding Lyrics for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder . Foo Fighters Head to the Studio! Over the weekend, Chris Shiflett , who has been the Foo Fighters' lead guitarist for years, told Rolling Stone  that the band is heading back to the studio to start work on the band's next album, a follow up to the incredible Wasting Light . You may recall that in October, Foo frontman Dave Grohl announced the band would be on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time. Apparently, they couldn't stay away from each other for too long. At a concert for his other band, Chris Shiflett and the Dead Peasants ( good tunes; check them out! ), Shiflett said, "We actually just started making a new Foo Fighters record within the last few weeks...We've started rehearsing." Breaking Bad  at Lincoln Center Whether you're not yet caught up on Breaking Bad  or you just want to re-watch the series before the final season begins on August 11, Lincoln Center has you covered. Beginning July 26 and running through July 30, you'll have an opportunity to watch - for free - every episode. The marathon screening leads up to "The Perfect Batch: Breaking Bad  Cast Favorites," which is exactly what it sounds like. Creator Vince Gilligan and stars Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte and Bob Odenkirk will be on hand to present their favorite episodes to partake in a question and answer session.
