John Gallagher, Jr. Releases Music Video Check out the video for Johnny Gallagher's "Sarasota Someone," the first single off his debut solo album, Six Day Hurricane . The video was shot live at the Rockwood Music Hall record release party in January. Jamie Lockhart steals with style, and, boy, does he make it look good. The titular character, played with zeal by the hunky Tony nominee Steven Pasquale , says he's a two-faced man, he's both the Bandit of the Woods and Jamie Lockhart. After saving townsman Clement Musgrove ( Lance Roberts ) from being robbed at the hand of Little Harp ( Andrew Durand ), Jamie is invited to dine with Clement and his family, which includes his second wife, Salome (Leslie Kritzer), and his daughter, Rosamund ( Ahna O'Reilly ). I suppose the plot is important—there's some stealing and scheming and loving going on down in Mississippi—but in my view, the plot is just the excuse for Tony-nominated director Alex Timbers to gather some merry players and put on a show. Students Have a Shot at Seeing Hamilton Through a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation , 20,000 NYC students will have the opportunity to purchase $10 (i.e., a Hamilton) tickets to Hamilton . The partnership is part of an initiative to integrate "the show into classroom studies," Deadline reports . Students who get to see the show (at select matinees beginning April 13, 2016) will sometimes have the opportunity to stay for a talk-back with the cast, and will receive supporting educational materials to reinforce what is sure to be the coolest history lesson they'll ever receive. Stephen Colbert to Welcome An American in Paris , Senator Sanders, Carol Burnett and More Tony nominees Robert Fairchild  and Leanne Cope , as well as their Tony-winning choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon , will be on Late Show with Stephen Colbert  on September 18. Quick thoughts about the Encores! production of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party , from someone who was unfamiliar with the show beforehand:  Queenie and Burrs's ambivalence is intriguing. Sutton Foster is slinking around the stage, exploring a dark sexuality, not something casual and bubbly but something deeper and more complex, something with higher stakes. Steven Pasquale is brooding. It's hard to deny his appeal, even as an abusive character, it is easy to see how a woman could fall for and continue to be with a man like that—despite his controlling nature. It can be difficult to leave, to break free from someone like that. I'd like to read the book, to know what else I'm missing and how the story develops outside of the songs. Brandon Victor Dixon has a quiet confidence, just as the character is described. There's a thrill in the inherent risk of a wild party. American Psycho Broadway Run Confirmed Broadway.com reports confirmation of a spring 2016 Broadway bow for American Psycho , the musical adaptation of the eponymous Bret Easton Ellis novel and subsequent flick. Previews are expected to being in February 2016, with opening night some time in March. (No theatre has been announced.) The adaptation is written by book writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ( Spider-Man ) and songwriter and Tony winner Duncan Sheik ( Spring Awakening ), and will be directed by Rupert Goold .
