Josh Groban on Your Coffee Table This week, Josh Groban teased a coffee table book, Stage to Stage: My Journey to Broadway . In his tweet, Groban said , "The last few years have been insane. So I made a coffee table book about it. It's full of great memories." Later, in an Instagram post , the crooner said, "We collected so many photos and memories from the last few years. Recording the Stages album, promoting it, doing a tour that took me around the world and back, and then signing on and completing my debut in Great Comet ...it's all been one serendipitous dream." Groban just completed his run in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 , marking his much-anticipated and highly acclaimed Broadway debut. Rising in the Ranks at NYCB Several New York City Ballet  dancers were promoted just before the February 19 performance. Russell Janzen  was promoted to principal dancer. He joined the company in 2008, and was promoted to soloist just a couple years ago. In addition, seven corps de ballet members were promoted to soloists: Sara Adams , Harrison Ball , Emilie Gerrity , Joseph Gordon , Unity Phelan , Troy Schumacher , and Indiana Woodward . Merde to all the dancers! The NYCB winter season continues through this weekend, and the spring season begins in April.  The New York Times  has more about the promotions. Coming Up The Barrow Street Theatre will be turned into a working pie shop this winter for an off-Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd , the Stephen Sondheim–Hugh Wheeler musical . Performances will begin February 14, 2017, with opening night set for March 1. The production comes via London, where the show was performed in Britain's oldest continuously operating pie shop. Broadway.com has more. A new comedy series is coming to Netflix. Created by Nick Stoller ( Forgetting Sarah Marshall ) and Francesca Delbanco , the series, Friends from College , focuses on (you guessed it) a group of people who've been friends since college (Harvard, to be specific). The cast includes Keegan-Michael Key ( Key and Peele ), Cobie Smulder ( How I Met Your Mother ), Annie Parisse ( The Layover , Vinyl ), Nat Faxon ( The Descendants ), Fred Savage , and Jae Suh Park .
