Guys and Dolls is Back (for One Night) The beloved Frank Loesser musical will enjoy a one-night-only concert at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium on April 3, 2014.  Directed by Jack O'Brien ( Catch Me if You Can ), the concert will feature good old reliable Nathan Lane ( The Addams Family ), reprising the role of Nathan Detroit, whom he played in the 1992 revival, Patrick Wilson ( The Full Monty , Young Adult ) as Sky Masterson, Megan Mullally ( Will and Grace ) as Adelaide and Sierra Boggess ( The Little Mermaid ) as the missionary, Sarah Brown. Beginning then, you'll get a behind the scenes look at what it ' s like to be a professional ballet dancer. Broadway Idiot The documentary film, chronicling Billie Joe Armstrong's journey from a punk rocker recording the seminal Green Day album American Idiot  to a Broadway star, packing St James Theatre for American Idiot 's Broadway run, will be out on October 11 (in theaters and through various On Demand services). The doc features Armstrong and his band mates, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt, as well as the stage show's creative team, including director Michael Mayer  and composer Tom Kitt  (a genius). The Newsroom : Season 2 So the season ended. It was a little disappointing, don't you think? I found the Will-Mackenzie wrap up too tidy, and I thought the Jim-Maggie and Maggie-Lisa bit to be somewhat melodramatic. I did like ***spoiler alert*** the Don-Sloan moment. That was satisfying. Ultimately, it felt like this season finale was the kind of finale you would write if you thought you were not coming back for another season (which The Newsroom  is). Still, it gave us more Sorkinese and brought us more Reese (Chris Messina), whom I think is a great foil to many of the characters, particularly Charlie.
